It has been noticed that despite being cautioned, both at the time of issuance of Trainee Card and by notices prominently displayed, Interns / Trainees occupy seats in Lawyers’ Cafeterias (both Main & Glass) and in Court Rooms, even when Advocates remain standing due to paucity of seats.
Members are requested to instruct their Interns/ Trainees;
- Not enter the Lawyers’ Cafeterias (Main & Glass) between 1 pm & 3 pm.
- Offer their seats to Lawyers in Court rooms and Cafeterias if lawyers are not able to find vacant seats
- Not to argue / persist with the staff of the Bar Association if prevented from entering the cafeterias during the said hours.
